You will be responsible for the annual gas servicing of domestic gas appliances, boiler replacement, responsive maintenance of gas systems and installation of central heating systems, all to current regulations. To ensure flues and combustion/compartments – ventilation are in accordance with regulations.
To estimate material requirements for all the above work.
To complete stores requisition sheets.
To record information which accurately describes work executed on site (this would be used in the raising of an invoices to the customer.)
To participate in the out of hours call out rota in providing emergency overnight and weekend repair cover including bank holidays.
To be a fully qualified time served Gas Engineer approved by the National Accredited Certification Scheme (NACS). Any of the following qualifications would be an advantage
