Job Role: Marketing Executive - Permanent

25 hours per week (with scope to develop the role)

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 PRO RATA plus annual performance bonus up £1,200

Our market leading client is a well-respected expert in their industry and is looking for a Marketing Executive with strong Administration skills to assist with driving the business forward. This exciting role can be done over 25 hours per week with a flexible schedule including hybrid working for the right person.

This role will manage multiple channels to drive traffic to the company website and generate business and interest in their services. They are looking for someone who can deliver creative and engaging content ensuring a strong digital presence. An interest and some knowledge of Health and Safety training and consultancy would be very advantageous.

Job description:


· Manage social media content and posts to promote the business and attract leads

· Maintain company website updates for news, courses and content

· Proactively respond to business enquiries including calls and emails

· In conjunction with the MD: research, produce and distribute the monthly newsletter

· Use LinkedIn and Google searches to identify and gather target customer data

· Conduct business development calls to targeted customers (coaching provided)

· Deputies for MD at networking events


· Manage the administration of the company’s training courses including taking bookings, confirming course details with attendees and organising course arrangements

· Manage and maintain the customer database CRM ensuring customer information is current and accurate

· Manage office administration and supplies

· Keep the office tidy and welcoming

To be successful in this role you will be:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or hold a recognised qualification in marketing
  • Have at least one year’s experience of working within a marketing role
  • Confident with B2B social media and email campaigns
  • Commercially astute with creative thinking skills
  • Strong IT skills including Office 365 applications and marketing software
  • Confident dealing with customers over the phone and in person
  • Good administrative skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated - able to use initiative and work unsupervised
  • Confident in your verbal and written ability

Our client offers a fantastic working environment in a great location in central Shrewsbury and a flexible hybrid work pattern over 25 hours per week with lots of opportunity to continue to develop your skills within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In particular it will be possible in the future to train as a Trainer (with full, in-depth training provided).
