With 30 years of experience in recruitment and career development, I specialise in helping businesses and individuals navigate the complexities of business growth and career transitions. I work with my clients to develop their teams for success and growth.

Importantly, I work with my clients on a contingent basis, which means I charge a recruitment fee WHEN the right candidate starts their employment with you. I do the hard work of searching, sourcing and shortlisting for interviews for you. I have confidence in my ability and determination to deliver results and have the track record to back it up. 

Drawing on my extensive experience, I am excited to be offering coaching: working with graduates, professionals and seasoned executives, I can offer coaching and  support at all stages of your career. 

I am a fully certified Coach, having studied with MOE Foundation and a certified Career Coach having studied with Full Circle. They are accredited by the Association for Coaching Association for Coaching and the International Coaching Federation ICF.

My background

I established roots in South Shropshire after living in Berkeley, California, during the 1980s. In 1995, I launched the first recruitment consultancy in the area, in the centre of the picturesque town of Ludlow — celebrated for its rich history, natural beauty, quality of life and thriving food scene.

Working Solutions has established a strong reputation for contributing to the success of many local businesses and professionals. With my team, I have had the privilege of placing over 8,000 people in jobs, working with companies across the Marches region of Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, and Powys.

In 2003, I completed Level 5 Associate CIPD HR qualifications from the University of Wolverhampton, building expertise in recruitment, workplace behaviour, and psychometric analysis, providing clients and candidates with skills analysis, CV advice, and interview coaching.

As a licensed practitioner of Thomas International Psychometric Personality (DISC) and Ability Profiling, I leverage cutting-edge tools to enhance hiring accuracy and career planning. I also maintain an association with Harrison Assessments, ensuring access to industry-leading methodologies.
