Our client is a successful, expanding business based in Leominster who are looking for an enthusiastic IT graduate, ready to dive into a dynamic role that touches various aspects of their technology operations. If you’re a versatile individual with strong communication skills and a passion for IT, this role offers you the chance to shape your career.
As an IT Graduate, you will start with in-house support and have the opportunity to explore various areas of IT, including managing external partnerships, working on web development, and contributing to the implementation of ERP systems. This role is designed for someone who is ready to grow into a key player in the company's IT operations, keen to take on significant responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-house IT support, such as setting up new PCs and resolving technical issues.
- Act as the liaison between the company and external IT support providers, as well as the website provider.
- Learn and use Python to make minor amendments to the website, reducing reliance on third-party services.
- Assist with the rollout of new ERP and barcoding software, serving as the main point of contact with software partners.
- Periodically cleanse data to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Support the creation of new product codes as new lines are launched.
- Manage IT systems within the business, ensuring alignment with company procedures and maintaining accurate asset records.
- Perform routine compliance checks on card payment machines.
- Take on additional IT-related tasks as needed, showing flexibility and a proactive approach.
