Our client has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Sales Person (2+ years experience). We are looking for a capable, confident and practical individual who is at ease interacting with all kinds of customers and understands how to listen to the needs of customers, remaining professional and responsive at all times.
Schedule: Monday to Friday; Weekend availability (flexible, on a rota basis)
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet customers warmly and professionally, in person, over the phone and by email.
- Complete necessary paperwork and input into the company computer system
- Display and price products
- Assist in planning sales campaigns and promotions
- Introduce and follow up on suitable sales prospects
- Develop and maintain extensive knowledge regarding pricing, options, warranties, etc.
- Happy to get involved in the day-to-day practicalities of the business to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Participate in national and regional shows and exhibitions
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous sales experience (2 years required)
- Fluent in English
- Full clean driving licence

- Ability to adapt to change and stay positive under pressure
- Team player who enjoys achieving results
- Practical and resourceful, keen to learn
- Reliable and takes pride in the quality of work
- Understands how to present information and products in a clear and user friendly way
Salary: Basic from £28,000 per year.
Our client offers a rewarding commission scheme and the successful candidate will enjoy a long-term career with training and development. Starting basic salary will be discussed depending on each candidate’s previous experience, qualifications and ability. Flexibility will be required at busier times of the year.
This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start date available for the right candidate.
